I am running a Plex server on a NAS device (Western Digital my cloud home, model number WDBVXC0040HWT) which is connected to my router via ethernet cable. The Plex server runs fine, however I am unable to successfully configure the remote access feature.
I did not receive any error messages on my router while attempting to configure UPnP or port forwarding. The only error message I recieve is when I press retry on plex remote access, it displays the same message “Not available outside your network”. Any help would be appreciated.
