Running Plex on Western Digital PR2100. No matter what I do or the settings I’ve tried, Remote Access stays on a few seconds then disconnects. Tried: Manual Settings, Disable Firewall, router anti-virus, Double-Nat, Bridge my router to ISP"S, connected to just ISP’s router. What the Hell. Had Plex for a few years now; no version has ever worked. Starting to regret getting Lifetime Plex Pass. Seriously, in spirit of the holidays, I wish someone could fix this!
Do you actually have remote access to begin with, ie can you access other services behind your router? (ssh, remote desktop, etc). If incoming connections just aren’t possible, it doesn’t matter how big your payments to Plex are.
Having Remote Access but getting the error is a common bug.
yeah that’s when indirect connections work, direct doesn’t but Plex insists there’s “no remote access”. But from this description, this is not what’s happening here?
This is happening to me also but i’m running OSX and using meraki network equipment.
