Remote access works only with Network->secure connections == Disabled

Hello! Probably been raised before, but…

Server’s been up and running with remote access disabled for ages with no problems. Started having issues with connecting via Sonos and noticed remote access had failed.

Seems there’s an SSL issue here - remote connection works only over http. Fails when network secure connections is set to “Preferred”. “Disabled” works. I’ve done a bit of log digging and can see a failure on ca cert authority, which looks the likely culprit.

Console logs the attached when I attempt to enable remote access.

Been through all the usual suspects (port forwarding, etc.) to get to this point, looks very much like an SSL issue.

Any help greatly appreciated!

Hi @shitehawk, same here if I want to drive Sonos speakers from Plexamp, can only make it work with the secure connections parameter set to “Disabled”. Using S2 Sonos network and Plex v1.24.4.5081.

Checking Android client logs, I indeed see that SSL error. I guess we’re all stuck until WD roll out an OTA update.
