I am new to this forum and relatively new to Plex. I have had everything up and running with Remote Access working (even though Plex claimed it wasn’t) for the last 5 months now.
Yesterday my router was changed to a LinkSys SPNMX42 - it took a while but I got everything set back up with Port Forwarding etc.
Plex now claims Remote Access is working (everything’s green) and it lists all the correct IPs and ports (32400).
Checking the remote access via data on my phone (which has always worked previously) it can see the server, see the library, view everything but when playing…
It either crashes or gives the message “Conversion failed. The transcoder exited due to an error.”.
The moment I turn on wifi and reconnect to the local network the same app works perfectly.
Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions I could try? Thanks for your help in advance.
