Remote access wrong public IP

Hello.

Since a few days, I notice that remote players was always transcoding in SD resolution. PS4, AppleTV, Mobile (Android and iOS). So I search the forum and find that all devices connect using relay (proxy) connections and the Remote Access in PMS was in red.
So I check the public IP in PMS Remote Access and it’s not the real IP.

My public IP is 188.84.x.x and in PMS 212.166.x.x
Ports are well in the router. I checked have no double NAT, i have only one router and ask my ISP.
Restarted the router and changed public IP, but PMS still with the IP 212.16.x.x

Using the access URL with http://myrealpublicIP:32400/web/index.html#!/ some devices can access PMS, but another devices can’t.
I have a no-ip service and try with http://domain.noip:32400/web/index.html#!/ and less of the devices can access.

I’m tired now of searching in Synology and in this forum without solution to the issue.
HELP PLEASE!!

Thanks Trumpy81.
Changed “Secure connections” to Preferred.
Port to 49200 manually (before was 3200) and forwarded from outside 49200->3200 on the router URL https://188.84.x.x:49200/web/index.html#!/ and looks that works. Only tested with two iPhones and one Android using mobile network. One of the iPhones couldn’t connect before and now it works.
Waiting for some friends to confirm it’s working.
Only a problem. I’m using the public IP in the URL and not the domain from no-ip.com, so i must check every few days if the public IP has changed. Or maybe check the configuration at no-ip, but in the desktop of no-ip is the right ip.

What address do you see at https://ipquail.com/ or https://portchecker.co/?

Can you connect to your Plex port on either IP address from these tools?

Plex is detecting 212.166.x.x because that’s the apparent source address it sees when your server makes outbound connections.

That’s happening because something is modifying your outbound traffic.

Both of those addresses belong to Vodafone, so it’s almost certain they’re the ones doing it.

It might not be a “traditional” double NAT or CGNAT, but unless you can connect to your IP from the outside, it doesn’t matter.

I see 188.84.x.x

Yes, the 49200 port it’s open using these tools

A friend wrote to me just a few minutes ago. Now can access to PMS.

Sudenly, and not knowing why, PMS gets the real public IP today.
Don’t ask me. All it’s OK.
