Remote access

Good Day

I have been using plex for the past year or so and to this day I still can not get the remove access to work outside my network. I have tried everything from the forum as well as other sites to try and get it to work but still no luck.

I bet you have an ISP modem/router connecting to your router?

I am using a Huawei LTE router.

May be some port ranges are blocked

Do you have access to a port forward setup page on this router to set up a manual port - forwarded to 32400.

Did you go through the checklist on the troubleshooting remote access support page
https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/200931138-Troubleshooting-Remote-Access

As you can see below, i have done port forwarding already and still no luck.

Thanks
Could you restart the router and then restart the server and if it is failing, get the Plex Media Server.log and attach here

Need to establish hat 192.168.8.100 remains as being the local IP Address of the server and that you have ticked Manually Specify Port on the Remote Access Advanced Settings for Plex Media Server and entered 32400 in the box

And that the internet / WAN IP Address that shows on the router is the same public IP Address that you would see when going to http://canyouseeme.org

I tried everything for over 2 years.

Mine was/is a double nat issue
I could not change my isp modem/router to bridge mode and changing my modem to bridge did not work.
I tried 3 high end routers (TP link. Synology router and Asus)
I paid for portforwarding.com software. They gave up and refunded my money.

What worked for me was getting a static IP from my ISP (at an extra cost)
When that was setup in MY router Plex immediately connected - no port forwarding needed.
