Remote access is Not available outside your network
Your server is signed in to Plex, but is not reachable from outside your network. I have tried everything I know to try and I can’t get my server to work out side my home…Any ideas what I can do to fix this problem? I have Mediacom for a isp 100mb dl and 20 mb upload.

Have you checked your firewall and router ports and allowed access?
Double check to make sure its enabled as well.

Usually the error above is associated with firewall ports.
Also, try hard-wiring your computer and going to http://router. From there, see if your router supports UPnP or NAT-PMP (you can normally find this under “Settings.” Turn the UPnP or NAT-PMP off; save your settings; turn the UPnP or NAT-PMP back on; save your settings again; then, go to Plex and retry the remote access connection. Worked for me, at least. Hope this helps!
Hi, Remote access is Not available outside your network is the error msg I’m receiving. I have done the following with no luck. disabled and saved and then enabled and saved the UPnP and NAT settings in my router, checked windows firewall and server was listed as having access, turned off VPN and rebooted the pc. I Need help with any other steps I can take. I was reading about port forwarding but can’t find how to do that with my router centurylink C1000A. Thanks advance for any help!
