I wasn’t using Plex about 3-4 months, i checked back at the beginning of the month. After the update, i can’t join to my Plex Server on PS4. I try the port forwarding, but seriously, i don’t understand that much. I hadn’t any issue about the program, but now this is just frustrating. I didn’t alter any options on the program, just updated it. Thanks the respond, and merry christmas you all!
Remote access and port forwarding are only required if you want to access your Plex Media Server from outside your home network.
Is this issue specific to the Playstation or can you no longer access the server at all? You should e.g. be able to open it using http://app.plex.tv/desktop or http://[PMS IP address]:32400/web from within your browser.
