the only thing plugged into the modem is the router and okay im resetting my server right now and im so so so sorry about all of this trouble

@ChuckPa I am having separate remote connection issues. My Server settings show the server is fully accessible; however, I get this error when attempting to access remotely: “app.plex.tv is unable to connect to “SHIELD Android TV” securely“.
This was working as recently as last weekend.
so i found out that my syno had no IP address
its working now without a problem

@ChuckPa Thanks for that, server reboot multiple times over the last 3 days but the issue remains. Remote access briefly says fully accessible when clicking on retry and then after about 15 seconds changes to say not available outside.

@ChuckPa I rebooted my router and it seems all’s fine now; really puzzled, but glad it’s working now again so long after everyone else reported that the certificate issue was resolved.
