I have had a lot of trouble connected remotely since the last update. Are people working on this?
it works fine for most. which version of server are you running exactly ( don’t say the “latest” )
are you using manual port forwarding or relying on UPnP or NAT-PMP ? ( i highly suggest manual port forwarding )
lots of posts on it, many issues… no support so far
i have tested many versions and sometimes i can connect but most i cannot
only solution i have found is to use a vpn but even that is random
so seems to be a routing issue that never had before, maybe now need to be forced to attempt port forwarding etc

I’m not sure Why I’m paying for this if it doesn’t work. It worked fine before I Updated. I was using an old version before and it told me I would no longer be able to use the remote connection unless I upgraded.
It didn’t do me much good. Now Remote service doesn’t work.

Same at me, no remote access, however this was the purpose of the whole setup and subscription I pay.
Tried nat, upnp, manual port forwarding, even bought a new router to be on the safe side.
Now we should see some customer care…
I had the remote access problem too after the update. I checked the Plex configuration, checked the router UPNP entries about the port forwarding and still had the same problem. I am running on windows 10 and ESET smart security. I disable the firewall in ESET and the remote access problem seems fixed… Now I add a rule in ESET’s firewall to allow the port 32400 in both direction. It works for me right now even after enabling the firewall.

remote access is free, a subscription is not necessary for that and never has been.
