Right, I’m sure you’ve had this issue a million times, but I have trawled all over these forums and other and have tried everything and now I’m stumped.
Plex was working fine after upgrading OS from Mojave to Catalina, and I remember having to do all sorts of bullshit to make it work. Port forwarding, messing around with VPN (it was working behind my Mullvad VPN).
Catalina ended up bricking my Mac, so I had to install a fresh version of Mojave, thus losing everything. I reinstalled Plex, added my libraries, connected to VPN and followed Mullvads instructions (which had worked fine beforehand). And now my ATV is showing as my server being offline, same on my iPhone.
Remote Access is turned on and is ‘Fully accessible outside your network’, no public port is manually specified.
Can someone please, very clearly and like I’m a 5 year old child tell me what to do? I can’t remember how I got it to work previously. Port forwarding? How the f do I set up a Static IP if I need one? Why is this so difficult!?
