Remote users unable to access Plex after rebuild

I recently had a catastrophic hard drive failure in my Synology DS916+ and had to do a full rebuild. Fortunately, I had a backup and all my media survived. I have since restored the NAS and libraries and re-installed the most recent version of Plex. Everything on the server is identical to it’s previous configuration (name and static IP) and the Plex server shows that it has remote access. The users I added previously are also still listed, and I have reshared all the libraries exactly as they were before. However, none of the users have access even though I do. I have sent new invitations, unshared and reshared the libraries, manually set the external port to 32400, but they cannot see any of the shared media. As I mentioned, I am able to get in remotely, so it isn’t being blocked across the board. What am I missing? What do I need to do to provide access to the rest of the users?

Your server’s name is just a name, the sharing and access of you or your users is not dependent on it.
I’d give the new server a different name. This should make it easier to discern the working one from the old one.
The new server will not automatically replace the pinned media sources in your sharee’s side bars and home page. They may all still have the media sources of your old server pinned to them.
Changing your new server’s name should make that much clearer.

After you renamed the server, tell your users to take a look at the “MORE…” mode of their sidebars. Or direct them to reset their clients altogether:

side note: one of your sharees has still not confirmed the email address on his plex account. This is required for access to shared media.
