I was having issues with computer and had to remove plex on the said computer. When did so the server I was using was removed and I cannot get it back nor find out how to get it back. I have tried a few different things and it hasn’t worked. Any help or tips would be great.
You did “remove” it how?
I followed the steps to remove from computer and even removed on the back side as well. I went to reinstall with no issues. after I did the uninstall the server wasn’t showing with the others and I figured it was because I removed it somehow.

Yes, I followed those steps. I watched a video to make sure I was doing it correct. It may have been something when my kids spilt water on my keyboard and cleaning it up may have removed it from my end. Like clicked removed server. That is the only other thing I can think of.
Then you can’t get back anything.
You will have to install Plex server and set it up as if it never has been on this computer before.
That is what I did. When I logged back into my account it wont let me set up the server however and it wont give me the option to set one for said computer. Am I just missing something? Did I miss a step on something perhaps?

I have all my content that isn’t the issue its just I cant get the server back to my account. I have other servers. The one that is for said computer is gone off the account and I cannot get it back to account.

I am again trying that process and where I am to be it doesn’t even show any servers on the back end.
what I think happened is somehow the server was deleted on the account page. the server is gone gone like it isn’t even there any more. if that is understandable
On the same account which you are using to post in this here forum, I can see at least 2 servers which were present 2 hours and 2 minutes ago. So are you using a different web browser to access your plex servers?
Are you trying to access the IP address of your server?
Maybe this has changed?
Have you tested to load the web app from here app.plex.tv ?
yes I have checked the ip address and tried to load from different platforms. there was a third server that I am trying to get back after it was doing computer repairs.
Hm, it looks like the ‘claim’ operation doesn’t succeed then.
You could try to use this alternate method of claiming the server:
just to make sure if I do try this as it is stating for those who cannot get past the “looking for server” I am not at that point it just doesn’t show the server like it was deleted and removed from account. is there any alternative way to restore that? if this does not help.
‘Claiming’ a server makes it appear in an account. Exactly what you need.
If the official way doesn’t work, this is the only alternative I know.

Can you ping plex.tv from this machine?
I can, I get logged in plex and can watch things on the other servers even just cannot get the server for this pc back on or show under servers.
