I’m currently running Plex Android app release 6.15.3885 installed on Sony Bravia KD65A1 and would like to report a bug that prevents the resume feature to work properly.
When trying to resume movie watching Plex is showing the “waiting circle” infinitly and the movie won’t resume.
When choosing to play the same from start, it works perfeclty.
It happens on any type of movie, not systematically.

+1 this is happening on a Gen 1 Fire TV that we just dug out of moving boxes. Initial play is immediate while resume just sits in what my fiance has dubbed the “spinning circle from hell” haha. I can grab logs, let me know.
when you get the circle hit back to go back to preplay screen then try to resume again does it work? also have you tried letting the circle buffering go for a minute to see if it kicks in)
(the issue is known and being looked into it as just been a tough one to nail down, may be related to refresh rate switching but still looking into it)
I have the same thing on an android tablet with the latest Plex player. Hitting back and try resume again works as a workaround.
Random stop of the playback is also still an ongoing issue that’s why I have to resume a lot almost everything I watch.
Not to mention the recent awful ui update doesn’t help at all. If I start a show from the home dashboard and it stops at random times I have to hit the back button at least 3 times until I get to a screen where the resume (white partial border circle around the orange play button) is available. Otherwise it’d start that show from the beginning.
