Roku: "Playback error (...) Direct Play is disabled"

Hello!

I have recently bought a Roku streaming stick 4k to watch Plex on my Samsung smart tv QLED 4K.

However, when trying to watch movies in 4K resolution a notice appears stating “Playback Error. App cannot direct play this item. Direct play is disabled”. This problem only happens when trying to watch 4K media in Plex app on Roku. Playing 4K media in the TV or tablet Plex app works fine.

I have changed direct play to “force” in Roku, but it doesn’t solve the issues.

Media that is not 4K works fine in Roku. Anyone has a solution to this problem?
