RTL sender familie on Astra 19.2E not playing for plex server > 1.29

I found this topic already on other forums without solution. I run plex server on ubuntu 22.04 on proxmox with netstream 4S to distribute my satelite signal coming from a SAT multiswitch. Satelite is Astra 19.2E. All worked good until upgrade on server 1.40. After that senders of RTL group (RTL; RTLPLUS,…) in SD quality will be detected but not shown. Error occurs: code 50000, Transmitter could not be set.

I played around going back using older plex versions: 1.29 ist the last that works.
I tried with different setups even in different virtual machines, result is always the same.
Any idea?

Same problem for me. Plex Support / investigation would be really helpful

I solved with using tvheadend als Backend end atennas to pretend to be a HDhomerun…

Good to know - thanks. Still I think Plex Team should resolve this bug. As it’s clear inside Plex. All other SAT>IP Apps and Panasonic TVs can show these channels without any issue

I agree, But Plex seems not to be interested in doing so. I think the issue has been adressed several times already … Live TV is not their focus I asume …
