S1003 error with PMS windows server and synology NAS

Server Version#: 1.41.3.9314
Player Version#: 4.142.2

Recently started using my synology ds212 and i can’t play anything from it. If I use the web player I get constant s1003 errors from it. Tried turning on/off hardware acceleration and the logs don’t stick out to me other than timing out. any assistance is welcome. logs attached

I also have used my iphone and the ios plex app and get a different error, the play button just sits there for a good minute then gives me “Couldn’t create the playback session for this item”

Videos play fine locally and remotely over the network without plex being involved.

I had been working this for the past few days and after setting permissions in synology, rebooting devices, checking network settings, etc. What took it was unplugging and replugging my switch for some odd reason. :shrug: I hope this helps anyone who runs into this.
