Samsung Plex App

I have the most recent Windows PMS and also my Samsung TV is from 2016 KS8000.

The issue is:

The new Plex app GUI:

I will get intermittent breaks in watching media “there was an issue with the player” and I then click “ok” and then click to resume playing media and everything is ok. When I revert back to the original app layout there is no issue.

I am finding that when I leave Plex in the Samsung hub and goto YouTube as an example and comeback to Plex. It sticks just showing the PLEX screen but does not go further. Yet if I hold the return button down and hard close the app and then click as if I was opening the app it works. This issue is not occurring in the original Plex app.

I have then found that there is no point to use the current new app and revert back to the original. I have other friends that have a Samsung TV and this same issue is happening.

Would be interested to get feedback on whats up? I am a plex pass user and I have all current latest updates for the PMS and Samsung TV.
