Samsung Series 6 now only plays a black screen with no audio

So I’m not sure if it’s an update which caused this, but I assume probably so since it was working up until a few days ago. Now when I play any video files on my Samsung TV, it plays a black screen with no audio. When trying out music files, it gives a “Playback Error” A unexpected playback problem occurred.

Streaming video and audio from Plex’s free content seems to work just fine.

Playing files on my PC also seems to work fine.

Maybe it’s a codec issue or something? Any help would be appreciated.

Okay, there’s something new now. When trying to play any video file or music, it pops up the error “Multimedia file format not supported.”

Nevermind about this. I tried deleting all of the codecs and it didn’t work. I deleted and reinstalled the Plex for Samsung client. It still didn’t work, but as a last ditch attempt I deleted the codecs again, and this time it seems to be working again.
