Samsung TV app problem (now solved)

EDIT: This turned out to be a Windows firewall problem. After a lot of hassle, I updated the Plex Media Server and noticed that the table of allowed apps was automatically populated with a number of Plex services (this was not the case before I updated the PMS).

Recently I upgraded my laptop and set it up as a new Plex server. I have just spent about two hours trying in vain to get it to talk to my TV (Samsung 2021 see app version above). I have checked out all the advice in the various forums about allowing insecure access and so on, but nothing is working. I get a message saying that the TV cannot access the PMS.

Can you please give a definitive answer on this, or suggest an alternative route?
