Samsung TV cant connect to my PMS

Player Version#: 5.6.1
So I can remotely access my PMS from outside even my friends can connect but as soon as I try to connect my TV which is located in the same network as the PMS it doesn’t work. It only works when I turn off my Windows Firewall.

Can somebody provide any solution?

If this is about your firewall, you might want to review the ports used by Plex for local client/server discovery

I’m having the same problem, I have updated plex, deleted the app on the tv, reset the tv, restarted the computer. Nothing will work to get it working on the tv, yet my friends can access mine, my ipads can access it, the chromecast in the bedroom works but not the tv.

Here’s what worked for me. My Samsung TV (plex app) stopped finding my PMS as well.

On server, go into authorized devices and delete the TV.
On the Plex app, go into Settings > About > Reset App

Sign back into Plex on TV-- it recognizes PMS now.

To be fair, this happens every so often w/ Samsung and Roku. Apple TV has always stayed solid with no issues. I think I might just bite the bullet and buy Apple TVs for all the TVs.
