Scan not populating Movie Library

I use PLEX for my Music Library and it works great. Today, I created a Movie Library and put two movies into the Movie folder on the NAS and ran the scanner. No files are picked up by the scanner. Each movie is an MP4 file. Each file is in its own folder. The folder and the MP4 file are named the same.

I followed all recommendations for folder and file naming but when I run the scanner, nothing happens. My library is empty.

I cannot find any support documents of videos that are of any help.

If Plex isn’t seeing any of the content… have you already checked permissions?
Assuming your Syno is on DSM 7, the PlexMediaServer system account needs to have read permission on your media share.
