Scan not removing old link files

Server Version#: 1.24.4.5081
Player Version#: 1.33.0.2444-a220eae4
Web Version#: 4.66.1

Hi,
I have notice the scan have not remove the old link. as the pic show.
I have move the content to a different hard drive and remove the old file, but it doesn’t remove the link. could you advice me on how to fix that.

Empty trash (library or server level), then clean bundles (server level only).

FYI, check your naming convention. Season folders should be Season 01, not See Season 01. Plex is very picky with TV shows. It might work now, but will most likely break at some point. Best to follow Plex recommended naming & organization.

Plex DocumentationYour MediaNaming & Organizing Your TV Show Files

/TV Shows <-- Library points here. Name does not matter.
../See
..../Season 01
....../See - s01e01.mkv

Hi Fordguy61,

Thank you. I have done all that you advice and yet it is showed… same drive same folder. but i have rename the file.

I am not sure what to do now.. before it was different hard drive. Its bizarre.

Thank you again

A scan and empty trash should remove unavailable files. The scan will identify them as unavailable, and emptying the trash removes the entries from your server. Not sure why that is not happening.

The TV library is pointing at E:\TV Series P1\, correct? Not at the root level, E:\, a show folder, E:\TV Series P1\See (2019), etc.

A Plex Dance will definitely clear things. However, you will lose played/unplayed status, etc. It erases all information about the show from your system. It is like you are adding it to your server for the first time.
