I have the following filenames:
…/S01/S01 (1).mkv
…/S01/S01 (10).mkv
…/S01/S01 (1).mkv is not detected. If I change it to …/S01/S01 (01).mkv it works. Any idea what the problem could be?
Guessing those are supposed to be episode numbers
S01E10 is the proper way to name them.

Sure, but my problem is not that the episode is recognized wrong, the problem it’s not recognized at all.
Like the file doesn’t exists.
if you don’t name them right then plex will intentionally ignore it. Like it will ignore files named like a tv show in a movie library and vice versa
