How do i enable the movie search to show the movie cover and movie details? i had it before and no i don’t

It’s working as you’ve described it for me on the current version of Plex Web (version 4.50 -> http://app.plex.tv/desktop). I just double-checked… I’m getting the same result when using the local version of Plex Web bundled with PMS 1.21.2 (version 4.48 -> http://[PMS IP address]:32400/web).
no not that search when you add a movie to plex in the match search.
Same question… are you using the hosted version of Plex Web (4.50 as mentioned in your OP) or that bundled with your locally installed Plex Media Server (what version do you have installed)? Looks like you’re using an older version.
This is what I get when searching that particular movie using Fix Match

With those versions there’s 2 things to consider… the Server version (Settings > [Server Name] > General – e.g. Plex Media Server version 1.21.2) and the version of the Player – if you’re accessing Plex through a browser, that player is “Plex Web” (Settings > Plex Web > General– e.g. Plex Web 4.50.1).
The search is running through your server – so the server version will be relevant/important here.
Could you check that?

Hmm… I was just checking a bit.
The match results depend on what agent you’re using. If your library is set to use the Plex Movie agent, you’ll get results like in my screenshot. If you’re using e.g. The Movie Database or Plex Movie (legacy) the results will look like in your screenshot.
