Secure remote access broken?

Hi,

I have on my server secure remote connections set to preferred.

If I use app.plex.tv to connect to the server remotely then I get a message telling me that The server “< redacted >” does not allow secure connections, clicking allow insecure once allows me to connect to the server.

If I use https://< ip >:32400/web then it connects fine and shows the little green lock in Plex showing that secure connection is working.

At a bit of a loss here, tried restarting the server, toggling stuff on and off but it just refuses to allow secure remote connections via the web browser.

Fixed.

This. was related to me yesterday changing the account that the Plex server was attached to (manually removing the credentials from the Preferences.xml).

I was looking around the files and noticed that certificate.p12 was old, so I renamed it and restarted the server…

And bang, straight away secure connections started working again! app.plex.tv. works and shows the secure connection again now
