Seen Status based on Language video library for video files with multiple audio tracks

I have video files with multiple audio tracks and I have multiple video libraries organized according to language, e.g.: German, English, …
I often have a video file with multiple audio tracks, so it happens that the same file is in the English, German, etc. library as well (it is not a copy but the same file on the filesystem).
Current behavior:
I watch the video from the English library and it gets marked as “seen” in both libraries German and English.
Desired behavior:
I watch the video from the English library and it gets marked as “seen” only in the English library and as unseen in the German.
thank you!

You should already be able to achieve this by using different Editions for those instances (no matter if they’re in the same library or not).

This can’t be done.

If you watch a movie, you have watched it.
Which audio track you have used is insignificant. If you switch the language and start a new watching session, by then you still already know the movie and what happens in it.

To have the “watched” status not respecting the audio language is therefore more logical than the other way around.

2023 clean-up: considered implemented (use different editions for the items associated to different libraries)
