Series Unavailable, but Get Info correct

Hi, I have a Series which after doing the plex dance is still marked unavailable.
I have already tryed new permissions in unraid, removed the folder, search, add folder, search and am out of Ideas. I have found several others with a similar problem, but their fixes dont work (usually plex dance).
What I really don’t understand is, the Series already worked at some point, I know that I watched the first season without problems.
Folder structure: plex-media\TV Shows\SHOWNAME (2022)\Season 2\SHOWNAME - S02E01 - EPISODENAME WEBDL-1080p.mkv

Please advise.

Step one: inspect the plex media info of an affected episode.
At the top, does it show one or more than one paths to a video file?

If it shows more than one, edit the library, go to the Add Folders tab and verify that all folder paths in there are actually

  • existent
  • not completely empty
  • accessible to Plex server (permissions-wise and also connected/switched on)

If it shows only one file path, verify the access permissions of the files and the folders. Double check for special characters in the path.
File/folder names starting with a dot . are considered “hidden” and shall not be used for media files which are supposed to appear in Plex.

There are a number of other file names and parts of file names which are reserved and should therefore be avoided in the file names of regular movies and tv shows.

It shows one path.

It seems the path is not updating. Get Info gives:

/data/TV Shows/Severance (2022)/Season 2/Severance - S02E01 - Ovaltine WEBDL-1080p.mkv

although the correct path woud be a different filename:
/data/TV Shows/Severance (2022)/Season 2/Severance - S02E01 - Hello Ms Cobel WEBDL-1080p.mkv

I checked the permissions in Unraid, they are the same in all my library.
Owner: nobody
Permissions: drwxrwxrwx for folders and -rw-rw-rw- for files

Check the three points from above nonetheless.

Sorry, forgot to mention I checked that.
Folder is there and shows the Shows inside, and I can press save changes.

Is there only one folder?
Or are there several added to the library?

One folder named TV Shows. For library TV Shows only this folder is added.

And after performing “Scan Library Files” nothing changes?
And nothing changes either upon Empty Trash?

Nothing habbens after Scan. Also nothing after empty trash and rescan.

Thank you, DB was broken apperantly, while it was not easy to get running, as I am not fluent in Linux, it is now fixed.
