Server cannot be connected to whatsoever, even locally

What is C:\Users\chris\AppData\Local\Plex Media Server\Plug-ins\wol.bundle?
This is clearly a 3rd-party plugin. I’d remove that first thing when things go wrong.
In fact, clear out the whole Plug-ins folder, then perform a “repair” installation of PMS.

You never told me whether you’ve checked your hosts file.

I’ve tried deleting all plugins and repaired the server but still no joy. Apologies, I did try looking for the hosts file but I don’t actually have any I can see.

Also I want to say a big thank you for your help, you’ve been working around the clock to try and sort out this issue and I really appreciate your help and effort.

So I for some reason have no hosts file and have just created one. After searching on google for 20 minutes, I can’t seem to find what exactly I need to have written down in the hosts file for Plex. I’ve not ever looked at the file before.

That’s hard to believe. It ought to be located in the folder

C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc

I’ve checked it multiple times, every other file was there except the hosts file so I had to create it. I’m just not sure what the file needs to contain for Plex.

It doesn’t need to contain anything.
You just need to make sure that it does not contain any Plex-related addresses.

Okay, it has no mentions of Plex at all in the hosts file.

I can now access Plex via 192.168.0.12:32400 which I couldn’t before, only on 127.0.0.1:32400. However, I can’t claim the server still. It’s the only thing I’m unable to do at this point. However, every few minutes or so it will stop seeing the server entirely and the server disappears from the sidebar.

That sounds like either it’s crashing, or is forcefully closed by some kind of over-zealous anti virus software.
