Server Crashing - NOT due to HW transcoding issue

Server Version#: 1.18.2.2058
Player Version#: 1.4.1.940-574c2fa7

I’ve had no major issue for years and now all of a sudden as of today the server is crashing on me. I do not have a dedicated graphics card and it’s not the HW transcoding issue that I’ve been reading about since I already have it disabled.

Thoughts of what I can do. I’ve never had to look at logs before so I don’t know where to start there so if you can point me to a guide that’d be great.

Here’s what I’m running it on:
Windows 10 Home
Version 10.0.17763 Build 17763
Intel CPU G4560 @ 3.50GHz
Graphics driver: 26.20.100.7263

I just turned on hardware transcoding for the first time. Not sure how I can turn it off now since it crashes right away. Don’t even know if that’s the problem.

But it’s open and running, it’s in my task manager. So maybe it’s running but “crashed” not sure…

The issue had been it’s crashing because it’s on. I’ve never had it on so it can’t be the issue.

Well for me it might be… trying to erase all traces of Plex from my server and see if I can’t re-install it. But it still might be something unrelated. Just going with the last change I made which was HW Transcoding.

Thought I’d let anyone who is having this issue know that after trying a number of troubleshooting ideas the only way for me to fix this was to wipe Plex from the system and install the last 1.17 server release and rebuild my library. Very annoying.
