Server disappeared now any new servers say "Not authorized"

I have had a Docker PMS running for about 18 months with no issues, it disappeared from my account the other day. Now if I try to build new docker containers for it and use the claim code like I did, it tells me “Not authorized. You do not have access to this server”.

So I also attempted to setup a new server on my Synology NAS to try it out, used the latest Synology for DSM 7 from the website, used the Claim code and received a “Successfully claimed to account”. When I attempt to access it, it also says Not Authorized, regardless of what I do.

The only “Server” I have been able to authorize to is a Windows desktop install, nothing else seems to play nice. Ideas on what might have started all this?

Synology Server Version#: 1.24.5.5173-7000

I’m facing the same issue but on windows server, any luck with a soultion?

Nope, I ended up having to continue using my Windows VM for now. I was hoping someone would respond with potential solutions, but alas!

Just upgraded to DSM 7 and have the same issue now.

Folks:

A few things about DSM 7.

  1. They changed ALL the rules, Everything is different (some broken still).

  2. Do not use the QuickConnect.to link (URL) to claim the server.

  3. Use http://ip.address.of.NAS:32400/web (use your LAN IP to claim it)

The Syno FAQ and DSM 7 Release Info & Migration Instructions contain everything we know

If you have questions about claiming PMS on Synology after reading these, please call out.

Hi! Same error here. I did several different steps and I always end in “Not Authorized” I claimed with a token during manual package installation. Once done I have an error “Not Authorized” when I tried to log into the plex from my DS218 NAS. If I remove the end of the URL I enter successfully but then it says a I need to enter a server ?¿?¿?

Please share some info:

  1. LAN IP of your computer
  2. LAN IP of the Synology
  3. Which URL are you using to access it (browser address line) ?
