New Plex Synology 7.0 Not Authorized

I already had a Plex server on my computer and decided it was time to switch to a Synology. When I try to set it up, I get a error:

Not authorized

You do not have access to this server.

You may be able to claim it by choosing “Open Plex…” from the Plex menu in the macOS menu bar or Windows system tray. For more troubleshooting tips, see our [support article]

I did try to log in via http://ip.addr.of.synology:32400/web , but this gives me an error, this site can’t be reached.

I have tried searching for the answer, but I can’t seem to find it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have to be honest, I swore I tried this, but I tried it again and this time it worked! Thank you so much! I should have come to you sooner, I would have more hair.

These instructions need to be placed in the support menu listing for [Plex Media Server] [NAS Devices] with a link stating Synology DSM Not Authorized
