I’m at a loss here and I hope someone can help!
I have access to a friend’s private server (for a few years now). I’ve been trying to access it recently but I keep getting the message “Server is currently unavailable. Verify you have a network connection and that the server is online, or see our troubleshooting tips for further assistance”
Here are some information that I’ve gathered
*I am using Chrome with no changes to my network/firewall/no VPN and I can not connect to the server
*I have an Android phone with the Plex app. When I’m on Wi-Fi it won’t connect but when I’m on 5G it does.
*This made me question if it was my router’s firewall but it works on my TV that is also connected to the same router as my phone & laptop (both won’t connect).
*My PC is not connect to the router but to a splitter then straight to the modem, yet it still doesn’t work.
*I’ve tried to access the server on other devices (Another PC, X-Box, Ipad)not connected to my home network and was able to connect to the server, so the server is definitely up and running.
Is it my ISP? Is it my router? I’m not sure where to start and would love some advice.
