Hello all,
I have a Plex Media Server installed on a Synology DS412+.
On my iPhone my media libraries are displayed, but on my AppleTV and in the browser they are not.

Does anyone know why this is and has a solution for me?

Thanks in advance!

The easiest way to resolve this is to:

  1. Uninstall the AppleTV app
  2. Re-install the app
  3. Re-link it to your account with the code it gives you.

It usually happens because the AppleTV is pointing to / homed at a different (possibly non-existent) server instance.

Relinking will force a full reload of all servers you have access to.

You can then customize the menu again.

After logging in, my server shows that I do not have permission.
Where can I set this? I can’t find the right server settings.

Do you have multiple accounts?
Are you using the right one?

Actually, no.

When I go to the server IP and log in, I don’t see any server settings.

Then the server does not recognize you as the owner.

Here is the procedure to bring it back to being yours.

But I am the admin.

Plex.tv recognizes you as the admin in the Plex/web app.

Notice your server is not listed ?

The server might have lost its connection to your account (which is what typically happens).

Right now, the server probably is signed-out of your account.

I was able to add support for fixing this in DSM 7 (which is beta).
Fixing DSM 6 was not possible.

Thank you for the tutorial.
Unfortunately, this procedure also did not lead to success.

I have now uninstalled and reinstalled the package.
Whether I have installed the latest version of Plex (PlexMediaServer-1.22.3.4392-d7c624def-x86_64_DSM6), the server does not connect to my account.
Also the server settings cannot be displayed to me.

In the meantime, I deleted everything from Plex (shared Plex folder and user) and reinstalled Plex.

But even after the reinstallation, the server does not connect to my account.

Here are my logs.

Thank you very much!
I still had the IP of my PI-Hole stored with the Synology, which I no longer had active.
After I took out the DNS IP at Synology DSM, everything works again.

Thanks for your effort. :star_struck:
