I run plex For Windows player on a small Intel HTPC Windows-10 system, and the server on a Synology DS218+ NAS.
Love it - but just recently it starting loading videos to the TV via the HTPC very slowly - about a minute to load from the home screen. And if I try to reposition in a video (e.g. +10 Sec.) that again takes up to a minute.
Not sure how to diagnose or fix this.
Than you. I did a stop/restart of Plex on the NAS server, and so far that seems to have fixed it. Will test the other clients.
How do you do a “full Metadata refresh and Analysis” on all files?
