I cannot provide any troubleshooting logs because I keep getting this same error… =/

I’ve erased all Registries, re installed 64 and 32 bit
I have no idea what’s going on…
Can someone help me please

A good start would be to log off the server, and the plex.tv site, and all players on tablets, TVs, etc. Shut down and Restart the server on your platform and log on. You may be prompted to claim your server. Once on the https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/ go to settings. If all is well, you can log on t all the other devices

@ohf59
Is this a new or existing installation?
Do you want to keep any existing libraries, etc or completely remove Plex and start over.

If you want to completely remove Plex and start over, see Uninstall Plex Media Server.

Then download and install Plex Media Server (Plex DocsInstallation)

If you want to keep your existing libraries, then:

  1. Stop Plex Media Server.

  2. Uninstall Plex Media Server using the normal Windows uninstaller.
    Do not use Revo, etc.

  3. Go to your list of Authorized Devices.
If your server is listed, delete it.

  4. Remove PlexOnlineHome, PlexOnlineMail, PlexOnlineToken, and PlexOnlineUsername from the Windows Registry.
Do not remove all Plex Media Server entries, just those.
See Why am I locked out of Server Settings and how do I get in?

  5. Download and install the current version of Plex Media Server.

  6. After the installer finishes, login to Plex Media Server locally.
If on the same system as Plex: http://127.0.0.1:32400/web
If on a different system on the same network: http://plex_server_ip_address:32400/web
(Ex: if the IP address of your server is 10.11.12.13, go to http://10.11.12.13:32400/web).

You should be able to login and claim your server.

If you see a “503” message that Plex is performing maintenance, then wait for it to finish. Plex is migrating the server database. If you stop the process you risk database corruption. Also, Plex will restart the migration process the next time it is launched.

FYI, you can always obtain the logs manually.

Navigate to the Plex Data Folder, zip the Logs directory, and attach to the thread.

Try this:

Thank you for the reply, I’ve erased literally all plex settings/files and still having the same issue =/ this is so frustrating

Suggestion:

  1. Follow the directions to completely remove Plex from your PC.
This includes the application, registry entries, and Plex Data Folder.
Do not delete your Plex account.
Do not delete your media files.

  2. Reboot the PC.

  3. If listed, remove the server from the list of Authorized Devices.

  4. Download and install the current version of Plex Media Server.

  5. If you run into issues, report back before you start uninstalling/re-installing, deleting any files, registry entries, etc.
If possible, include a set of server log files with your post.
