Same problem, Windows 10. I cleared my plugin folder and reinstalled Plex and it worked for a day, but now it’s not working again.

same issue here, plex pass, Windows 7 SP1. I had an update available earlier this week and ran it…ever since it’s be nothing but a mess.

I tried installing and it’s same issue…I hope this get’s resolved soon as it seems like a lot of people are having this issue.

I have emby running on the same server, no issues with that. I guess I will roll with that for now…I just like plex’s interface better for TV programming.

@Sl4ck You are not using the default/usually recommended port of 32400. Is there a reason for that? I had this problem long ago which I solved by using static IPs for my server/PC and TVs/players.

Is that a firefly class transport in your account picture?

Same problem for me

Port has clearly nothing to do with not being able to parse XML, unless the parsing is done through some kind of web service (hint: it’s not)

His error said failed to connect to his IP:port. Just an observation

I did not make any changes to the version that works

Im running Windows 10

Everything else seems to be working now, except no server settings page issue

Same issue here. Unable to access the server via browser. Plex app on tv won’t connect either. Just shows the loading image forever then lists multiple preferences and quit selections that’s it. Nothing has changed with my computer that hosts other the Plex did an update.

When I try to connect to plex via browser on the server computer I’m met with:

Unable to connect

Firefox can’t establish a connection to the server at 127.0.0.1:32400.

The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer’s network connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

So I went through control panel and selected Plex, modify, repair. I was back in plex. There was an update so I click update plex then install. Back to unable to find server. Obviously there is a problem with the newest version of Plex.

UPDATE
Well it’s working again I don’t know what happened or changed but I have my server back up. Very odd.

I tried the same way, but I still have the problem

I stand corrected it wasn’t control panel. It was settings, apps, then selecting plex and doing modify so it repairs it.

It didn’t last though. I went to access it a few minutes ago on my browser and low and behold unable to connect again. Had to run through and do repair again. Something is messed up with the newest version. I’ve never once had an issue with Plex until now.

I have server going, just no server settings page.

Same here - tried reinstall, registry cleanup etc. without success.
Hope they release a fix soon

I am experiencing a similar issue. Plex server would launch, but it would appear as if the server was unable to be found for several minutes before it would finally load and let me browse the media library.

Attempting to view the server settings page would result in a “Server Settings Not Available” message.

Attempting to view any media would result in the media never actually playing.

I uninstalled the latest version of plex (Windows 10: 1.13.4.5271-200287a06) and installed the previous version (Windows 10: 1.13.2.5154-fd05be322) and I’m back to normal.
