I’m running PMS on windows 7x64 and the last two releases of PMS cause the server settings to say ‘unavailable’ as well as no new meta-data being added. If I uninstall the newest releases (specifically: 1.13.3.5223 and 1.13.4.5251 ) and go back to 1.13.2.5154 everything seems to work fine again.
What gives? Anyone else experiencing this problem? I’ve read various threads here but haven’t found one with a specific solution other than to re-install (did this multiple times) or roll back to a lower version.
I’m having the same problem. Had the issue first pop-up due an automatic update from the plex pass channel. I tried the recommendations in the other threads (registry edit to reclaim the server, install using run as administrator) but no luck. Only thing that worked was downgrading to 1.13.2.5154.
Yup, That’s what I did as well… Went back to a previous release. I really wish PLEX support team would read and respond to these posts. I’ve had trouble multiple times now, and they have never offered any feedback or fixes!. WTF?
I was able to fix this… The issue was I have moved my plex data to my d: drive, and that’s what I had in the settings. The new releases REQUIRE a \ after the drive letter, so I changed d: to d:\ and all is working correctly now. Since I couldn’t access the server settings, I just made the change in the registry. Easy enough to find where with a quick google search.
