So I changed my password - forcing logout on all devices - following the security leak.
I can logon in Chrome and Edge on two different PCs and my mobile phone. All these devices are currently on my home WiFi.
Unfortunately neither PC can see my server. I get “[Servername] is currently unavailable” - while the libraries are all visible on the iPhone.
One further observation: when I logged on in each browser the first time after changing the password, with a password, I was initially taken to a different page - with a login button at the top. When I clicked that, I was then able to log in using just my email address - I wasn’t prompted for password.
Seems to be some sort of server authentication issue - but not affecting the mobile app - anyone got any ideas?
“Logging out all devices” during the password change does also affect your server.
You need to re-claim it into your plex account.

Thanks Otto.
This seems a lot of trouble to put users through after suggesting they logout because their account data has been compromised. You’d think there would be a more user-friendly message. And it’s odd that the iPhone apps have no issues!
I am not at all comfortable with performing registry edits!!!
My linked post contains a method that works around a direct registry edit.
Indeed - I appreciate the help - but it’s still a regedit that’s required following a routine password reset. That seems very user unfriendly. No?
I need to clarify something. The server is actually running on a NAS. How will a regedit on one of the PCs affect the server?
It won’t. What brand of NAS?
Thanks Otto. I will investigate that.
As I said - it’s odd that it works perfectly on iPhone - yet the login/authorisation process on PCs appear broken.
Hopefully this FAQ will provide an answer.

I managed to fix it without reinstalling!
I went explicitly to http://{my_local_NAS_IP_address]:32400/web
I followed the instructions to re-login. Then I clicked the button to “reclaim” the server. Hey-presto!
