Server unreachable after password update. Raspbian Buster, Synology NAS

After receiving the data breach email, I updated my Plex username password, and now my server is unreachable on all devices. I’m running Plex from a RaspberryPi 3, running Buster. Do I need to update username/password info in a preferences file somewhere, or on my Synology NAS?

I found this as a similar topic…is it still relevant? My Preferences.xml doesn’t include PlexOnlineHome="1", so maybe it’s out of date?

I went through this much simpler. After changing password, I logged in locally.

192.168.1.42:32400/web/index.html

And went into settings. There I located a “reclaim server” button, clicked it, and all was back in service in under a minute.

As per the guide linked to the password reset e-mail and the related forum announcement.
Just pointing this out for anybody else who might have missed those steps after signing out all their devices (which includes the server) and finds this thread.
