Server won't detect new TV show

For some reason, my Plex server won’t pick up a new TV show that I’m trying to add. Just to be sure that it was only the TV show that was having the issue, I added a couple of songs and they were detected right away. The issue is that when I’m scanning my library for new files, Plex just doesn’t see the new files for this particular TV show. I haven’t had issues adding TV shows in the past, so I’m thinking it may be the way I have named or structured the files?

The show I’m trying to add is .Hack, which I figured the “period” before the title may have been messing things up, so I removed it from the main folder to just be called “Hack.” However, each file still begins with “.hack - SxxExx” Is it possible that having a period before each title is somehow messing with the scanner detection? I checked this article (https://support.plex.tv/articles/201381883-special-keyword-file-folder-exclusion/) for possible exclusions, but that doesn’t seem to be related.

I’ve also added a screenshot that shows my naming/file structure.

hack

Any assistance here would be appreciated. I also attached logs just in case those were needed.

The Show’s Name is ‘.hack’.
Unfortunately Plex ignores ‘.hack’ - the same way it ignores ‘.grab’.

I named it and all it’s (one test) episode(s) ‘hack’.

A TV Show Library Folder\
.......hack\
.........Season 01\
.............hack - S01E01 - Role Play.mp4

Resulting in an instant and natural -fully populated:

Plex is ignoring ‘.hack’ - so it’s also ignoring all it’s episodes named ‘.hack’ - and ‘Hack’ will match to this show:

'cause it did when I used ‘Hack’ for the name and it’s episode - before I actually went to TVDB to sniff out the scoop.

Typically success is most often achieved by using THE EXACT name TVDB uses, but in this case you have to ‘Hack’, ‘.hack’, to make it work without that one little dot that messes everything up.
