Settings in Plex no longer available after update last night

I have upgraded to the latest version of PMS last night. everything seems to be working fine as far as playback remote and local, but if I try and go into the settings, any tab under the settings or manage I get the above error. I have tried restarting the browser, plex app, and rebooting the server but I cant get into any of the settings.

Any one seeing this error?

Ill try to answer any questions I can but I cant get into the tab to see the version info or the logs so I’m kind of stuck.

Quick update. Now I can no longer play media directly on the server, locally on an apple TV, or on any device remotely. I can see my libraries but clicking on any file just causes the loading wheel to spin with no % showing. eventually times out with a “playback error” message.

For the time being I was able to use this guide to roll back to the last version and its working again:

I didnt realize it was possible with out going into the settings until I found this post.

I would still like to find the cause so that I can upgrade to newer releases in the future.
