Several people having issues with SRT subtitles/transcoding crashing, no response from Plex?

Not sure what is going on. The only thing that I’ve changed is I’ve updated my programs. Suddenly, anything with an SRT file refuses to play outside of the main computer where it’s stored. I believe the issue is related to transcoding but not sure.

I’ve seen at least a dozen other people on this forum, reddit, etc. with the same problem and not a single fix has been found.

What’s going on with plex right now?

Please clarify “refuses to play outside of the main computer where it’s stored” ?

What device where you trying to play on? It isn’t clear as I do not have the full set (Settings - Server - Help - Download Logs gives me what I need)

The log file you did post shows the device you’re playing to requires the SRT be burned into the video image.
