A friend has shared his content with but when I click the link on the email received from Plex it just tells me there was an error. We’ve tried it three times with same result.
Login to your account via Plex Web at https://app.plex.tv/desktop. You should see a notification and be able to accept the invite, bypassing the e-mail.
Invite sent from my main account to my test account. Click on Users & Sharing.
Then click on the check mark to accept the invitation.
Your friend will then see the status change from pending to sharing on his server’s Users and Sharing page (will have to refresh page to see the change). https://app.plex.tv/desktop#!/settings/users-sharing
