I’m trying to share my libraries with a friend and he can access them on his phone, but none of my libraries show up on the app on his Fire stick. Tried logging out and back in and still no joy. Anybody have any ideas what else to try??
Have they already checked the „More“ entry in the sidebar menu? Your server should be listed there with the shared libraries.
The “More” tab was what I was looking for but, it wasn’t coming up!!
Have your friend double check the account they are signing in with. Did they try using the Sign in with Amazon option? That does not link to an existing Plex account so it would be a new account if they did that.
Hi, thanks for responding. I got him to log out of the app on the Fire Stick and re-log in. He did indeed sign in with the Amazon option but then added the account that I’ve given sharing rights to, with no joy!! So, are you saying that if the app is logged in on an Amazon account as well as the “shared” account, it won’t work??
Not sure what you mean by this. You can’t add another email address to the Amazon account. Have them ignore the sign in with Amazon option and use the link code by signing into their Plex account on a browser using their Plex username/email and password.
He signed in on the Amazon Account and then you have an option to “Add account” once you’re in, which he did. Are you saying that if you are signed in on the Amazon account, even if you add another once you’re there, it still won’t work?? Thanks again for taking the time to help!!
