I’m trying to share a video with family from around the country of a family video that we have from 1990. Its on my computer that i am sharing on my network. How do i give access to my family to see the video without having a tech geek show them how?
Step 1: make sure your server is accessible from outside your home network.
In many cases, simply enabling this in your server settings will do the job. However there are many components when it comes to establishing a remote network connection and many players settings their own rules (e.g. ISPs)… so sometimes this can be rather tricky and require some level of “tech geek”.
