Hi! Since few months, PMS is unusable on Shield for me too. It crashes every day when I ´m playing movies. I have the latest beta of PMS and the latest stable release of Shield firmware. Pleaaase do something for us! It’s really a pain!

I got a new update of Plex Media Player yesterday, but still no vobsub subtitles when starting Plex from the shield interface. This is bug is present for more than a month now! So I repeat my question for the third time: Plex, when will the display of vobsub subtitles be corrected?

Is it finally safe to update the media server? My shield updated the main app (turned on auto update after installing 9.02) and now its hiding my movies from the side bar every time i turn off the shield. Not sure if this would fix it but i haven’t updated the media server in a while. Still on v1.25…

Curious about this too. I am still on 8.2.3 and Plex Version 1.26.1.5798 (works fine). Waiting for a few others to upgrade to 9.02 and see if it works.

i dont even use shield as my server and i still haven’t upgraded to 9. maybe after shield release there next install i will. they are beta testing a new install now. too risky upgrading to something that doesn’t appear to give me much new stuff but could possibly bork a lot of other stuff.
