Shield Server doesn't see its own libraries

So I’m running my Bedroom shield as a server, with local storage via USB and my two Rokus, my OTHER Shield, and my three computers all see the libraries but, ironically enough, the local Shield does not. It does not see ANY libraries except the “Home Media” one which I left there (but is empty).

I’m signed in the same everywhere – how can that Shield that is also the server not see it’s own libraries? How can I fix this?

Hmm, okay, more info but not helpful (to me).

I spoke too soon – while the other Shield and my Rokus (two of them) DO see the libraries on the one Shield server, the web accounts on my PCs (three of them) do not. The Roku connects wirelessly, one PC does as well (on the same network) and everything else is hardwired to the same network.

So now I’m really confused. If this were a conventional “app” I’d reboot it but I don’t think running another app on Shield does that (and if it does it doesn’t work anyway). Should I just power down that Shield Server completely and then restart? Is that what’s normally done (and will it hurt anything? Plex must be able to recover from power outages, I assume).

Okay - found it.

You can go into the Plex app on the Shield and turn it off (or exit or some such – don’t remember what it’s called now). Doing that and reopening it made all well.

Now, I also cleared the cache, for what it’s worth – don’t know if I had to do that but it seemed like a good idea.

(Not sure about the web apps but I don’t really care about those - I just use those for testing purposes).

Sorry for the bother.
