I put these files in season 0, ie special.
Rename it. In your case S00E25 S03 2.5. You can develop your own naming system. Put whatever doesn’t fit into season 0 tho.
It will be show as episode 25 on season 0
As others have said, use theTVDB episode numbering system. This is how Plex will identify video files and retreive the metadata (name, episode summary, actors, etc) associated with each episode. You must match this, or Plex will get nothing. It doesn’t even care what you named the file, it will ignore the text other than "SxxExx.
Thankfully, Plex seamlessly plays all episodes regardless of season in order as you go along in a show. So if a “special” episode was aired between episodes 25 and 26 (such as here), it will be the episode that plays RIGHT after episode 25 finishes.
