Simply turning off then on Plex server, loses server completely

Hey, Folks, seeing similar posts, but none of the solutions seem to work for me. I can install Plex server just fine, add libraries, new setup woohoo! Right?

I then literally restart plex service and close plex server (mind you just the app and service, I am NOT touching or restarting the machine itself.)

Relaunch Plex server and service - nada - acts like I dont eve have the server installed. Does that web stuff. playlists, etc.

Online it does show my server as authorized device. Not showing locally.

I did the registry trick, where I delete those keys. I even did it even though it was logging me on via the correct account. That works…only to have it say unreachable, unable to claim it, in an infinite loop while trying.

Firewall for domain, external and internal disabled (I dont think its my PC anyway, as why does it work initially)

So I guess its fine… untiI have to reboot my machine lol.

You guys got any ideas? Ive tried everything EXCEPT trying a previous version. other than that, Im at a loss.

You are frickin AMAZING!!! I tried everything and had no idea my IP address wasnt in the private range. Windows 7 seemed to have no issues with it, but apparently Windows 10 protects idiots like me from themselves. I hope Plex can somehow PUSH your post to the front cause my searches found every one EXCEPT yours.
